OUR STORY
MKUD Jane Sandanski is a Macedonian folk dancing group located in Melbourne, Victoria. The purpose of the association is to provide a safe environment for the local Macedonian youth in Melbourne to embrace their culture through folkloric song and dance.

In the 40+ years since establishment, MKUD Jane Sandanski has performed all around the world. The groups most recent international performance was in Japan during September 2017 marking 35 years since the group was first established. The group has also performed internationally in Macedonia during 1989, 1997, 2007 and 2012.

Today MKUD Jane Sandanski is one of the largest Macedonian folk dancing groups in Melbourne with over 100 members across four groups; Junior, Middle, Senior B and Senior A. Our members, volunteers and sponsors are a key part of our success and we are excited to share our journey of promoting the Macedonian folk song and dance with each of them.
